In booklet format page 1 is printing over page 4

In booklet format page 1 is printing over page 4 (front cover over back
cover). The document appears fine in print preview. I have changed margins,
resized the picture on the cover, turned printer and computer off and on,
looked at the printer settings, nothing has changed. What else could it be?
