In FP2002, Can't Import .MP3 audio file. ;-(

Evidently FP2002 can't handle .MP3 files, so I'll have to convert. The
question is, what kind of Audio File tends to be smallest of those that
FP2002. I know .WAV files can be rather large, so I'd rather not convert to
..WAV. I'm open to suggestions. And I shall greatly appreciate your help.
