Maybe I'm misusing navigation. Today, I spent a fair amount of time trying
to straighten out some inconsistencies in the LinkBars that I set up for 3
web pages. Once I got those set the way I need them, I published the
changed pages, but the new LinkBars that are on these pages in FP2002 differ
from those that actually published.
These pages are basically a sub group of pages that are interrelated. The
way I setup navigational access was a LinkBar button from a higher-level
page to one of the three pages of the sub-group. That page, in turn, has
buttons that link to the lower-level pages. The lower-level pages have
buttons that link to each other and to the higher-level page of the
sub-group. And all 3 pages have link buttons to the higher-level page above
the subgroup and to Home, which is still higher.
To create each LinkBar, I used the Create New feature of the LinkBar
Properties dialogue. In doing so, I added & deleted buttons as needed to
accomplish the needed navigational structure.
If anyone has a clue as to what I'm doing wrong, I shall greatly appreciate
them straightening me out on this.
