In Frontpage, what is a service.lck and how do I get rid of it?

I built my site at home on FrontPage 2000. Home computer is offline ME
edition. I copied my site to disc so I could run it from my daughter's online
computer, XP edition. I installed FrontPage 2000 on her computer, opened my
disc, everything seemed okay until I tried to open a page. I get a server
error that says service.lck cannot be opened for writing. Help!?

Delete the file and make sure you copy the web from the CD to folder on the HD, then remove all
read-only attributes.

Use Windows Explorer to remove the Read Only attributes from every
file in the web.
When you save anything to a CDR, it becomes Read Only, and copying
back to a hard disc does not remove the RO attributes.
