In Memory, Sonia Coleman

We're saddened to tell you all that we've lost one of our best.

Sonia Coleman, our Lady in Red, passed away on Saturday, July 15.

She'd almost won a long, brave battle with cancer when side effects from the
therapy and other problems unexpectedly took her away peacefully, in her
sleep.

Sonia first came to the PowerPoint newsgroup to learn how to make AutoRun
CDs.
There wasn't much good information available, but she wasn't one to give up
easily. She worked out all the details herself and published them so others
could benefit. And then stuck around, kept helping PowerPoint newsgroup
visitors with all aspects of PowerPoint. And was made a Microsoft PowerPoint
MVP in recognition of the huge contributions she made here.

I can only hope that by helping all of us, it in some way helped her
feel better.
She will surely be missed ! She has certainly helped me to learn. We
don't always think of the value of a person until we lose them. She
was Gold.

Sadly I never met Sonia but her digital artwork (and Leif's) inspired me to
progress my own skills. I love her site and feel that I knew her, her work
lives on and I'm sure she's watching us help others with a smile on her face.
