In MS Project, how do I print a small portion of a gant chart?

I have a large gant chart and I would like to print a small sub-task. When I
filter the range and select print preview, the area I am interested in is
still at the very end of a large gant chart (no other items are shown, only
the date range). Is there a way to format the print area to specific dates
on the chart?
