In outlook 2007 when i type question mark i get an accent E - why

It just happens in Outlook 2007. If I use Notepad or Word 2007 the question
mark character apears fine.

I have checked the keyboard setting in the control panel and it is fine
(i.e. an English keyboard).

How do i fix this?

Is that the only keyboard lyout and keyboard language installed?
Is it only off for the question mark? All other letters and characters are
correct?
