I have tried to use use rules in outlook to send a "blocked user" email back
to particular addresses. I get as far as 'reply using a a specific template',
but see no way to create the .oft file it is looking for in the window that
pops up 'Select a Reply Template. Perhaps there is another (better??) way to
accomplis this?
Thanks......

You don't. Mail clients can't send non-delivery reports. Only servers can.

That said, what would be he point? If you're trying to make a spammer
believe your address is invalid you're wasting your time. Spam engines
don't get non-delivery reports because the sending address is faked.

The point is, there are individuals that send emails to us that we do not
wish to see. I have asked to be removed, but it does not happen. I'd like to
'remind' them each time they send something....
I find it hard to believe that there is no way to automatically spawn a
canned message to an email address...............

Chances still are that they won't see it.

Anyway, create the template first and save it to
%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates. Then in the Rules Wizard, choose "User
Templates in File System". Locate your OFT.
