In Outlook, how do I stop receiving duplicate emails??

In Outlook, I continue to receive duplicate e-mails in my inbox that I have
already deleted. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Connect to the serve using another email client or another Outlook profile
and download all of the messages that are left on the server.
Ensure antivirus email integration is disabled in Outlook.
