In Visio, can I add shapes from another program (wmf or bmp)?

Visio 2003. I prepare a lot of value stream maps and need to frequently use
several shapes that are not included in the product.
Is there a way to add these special shapes to one of the shapes menus? I
downloaded the symbols I need and I have a choice of either a bmp or wmf
file.

Thanks Al, this did work. However, I still have one problem. When I drop the
images onto my page, they have a white background that covers up the
gridlines. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I haven't tried this but you might experiment with transparency or cropping
your drawing

Charis:
Before copying the images from your "other" program and dropping them into
your Visio, make sure there's no "fill" color for your image. Then
copy/paste into Visio and save to your favorites.
