In visio, is there anyway hide text except on mouseover?

I would like to create a text box or something simular that would be hidden
unless it is moused over. Is there anyway to do this?

This is in a a data center setting and I would like to be able to mouse over
a server rack and have it tell me what servers are in what cabnet, based on
the text I have "inserted" for that specific server cabnet.

Insert > Shape ScreenTip has this behavior. The text is not formatted and
is limited to 255 characters.

Mark, is there some way to highlight the fact that there is a ShapeTip
associated with that particular shape such that an uninformed viewer would
know to move the mouse over the shape?

I'm sure you could build something into the shape. One solution I have seen
frequently is to create a control handle and put the tip on it. The control
handle appears as a yellow diamond when you select the shape.

If you want something visible even when the shape is not selected, you may
want to build in your own piece of geometry or custom formatting. Or you
could create a Smart Tag.

mark, can i make more text visible on mouse-over? i can add lots of info to
the shape screentip for later retrieval, but it only shows some of it on
mouse-over with a "..." to indicate that there is more. how do i tweak visio
to show all of it on mouse-over?

thanks
