Until a couple of days ago the title bar wood 2003 on top of the screen which
includes file, edit, view insert etc had a drop down menu for each of the
items which I found essential. For some rreason the "file" item now does not
have a drop down menu all of the other items do have one.

How can I recover the drop downs. I have removed Office 2003 and
reinstalled it and I have attemted to repair from the original discs all to
no avail.

Please help

Select Tools-Customize, Options tab. Be sure that "Always show full menus"
is checked.

Thank you that worked very well. I went to the customise then scrolled down
and doubled clicked on the menu bar and got back my drop down for the files.
Without this drop down I was not able to select the number of pages to print.
I still could print from the icon but it was a whole document when I only
needed single pages.

I also could not easily see what files I had previously opened without going
to eth windows screen.

Again thank you
