Inactive resources in plans cause My tasks to fail???

Today lots of users are unable to access My tasks in PWa when using a
view that I created for them. it has worked for several weeks.
Friday afternoon I marked several resourcer Inactive. Among these 2
former Project Managers and one administrator, besides several team
members.
Firstly I deleted an enterprisefield that we use in that peticular
view - I know from experience that until we have SP1 installed this
field is a risk.
But that did not do the trick. THen I deleted the view and most users
were able to acess.
But... then I recreated the view and lots of user are - again - unable
to acess my task. They receive error msg:

Error message:

"An Unexpected Error has occurred.
Web Parts maintenance Page: If you have permission you can use this
page to temporarily close web parts or remove personal settings. For
more information, contact your system administrator."

I dont get it,. The view has worked perfectly for weekd. I assuse that
it has nothing to do with the view, but is caused by the fact that
several users were set inactive.
I think that all the plans that have inactive resoucers cause
conflicts that Project can´t solve especially because some of these
plans were held by one of the resouces now inactive.

Any comments on this???
I have tried to set the resouces active again, but I am afraid that
the damage is too big...
I seems that resouces who have tasks in the plans that were affected
by the inactive resources are those resouces that have problems

LeneG:

Did you also assign new resources to the tasks that the now inactive
resources were assigned to? This might be the cause of the problem as
pre-SP1, this almost always causes assignment corruption that leads to the
behavior that you describe. The best therapy for this (easiest) is to save
as an mpp file, delete the affected plan(s) from the server, then use the
import wizard to import them back to the server.
