What is the appropriate way to inactivate a resource that had time on a
project? I had a resource that left the company. I went into the project
plan and replaced the remaining effort for that resource to another
resource. I republished the tasks so the new resource got the hours then
went in an inactivated the resource in Project Server. Every time I
republish this project, I get a Spooler error saying there is an inactive
resource on the project. While technically this is true, there is no real
interaction that replaced resource has on the project. Is this just one of
those things or is the process for replacing inactive resources incorrect?
