I have quite a few users, their account being set as inactively almost
everyday in project server. And I have to re-enable those accounts almost
every day. Please advise why?

Thanks,

Gary,

I use Project Server 2007. Yes I do use AD sync. these users are in the
group which linked to AD for sync and the sync was successful. But some
users' account got inactive and others are fine.

Thanks,

Besides, in the AD Snyn option, it's also configured that Automatically
reactivate currently inactive users if found in AD during sync. But it looks
like the setting didn't take effect.

Hi,
did you check if the sync was successfull? Ours dies quite often and need to
be re-run

It looks more like the system isn't matching these resources correctly. You
might try removing them from the global group and adding them back in. You
might try making the resource inactive in Project Server and reactivating
it. Make sure that the logon credentials are entered correctly in Project
Server.

Hello!

I install Project Server 2007 in test lab. Installation type - basic. I sync
users groups with group in AD. But every day my users in Projest Server move
in inactive state (except administrators). If I do manual sync with AD -
users active. If sync by schedule - they stay inactive.

In event log after every sync i see error 7718.

That i do wrong?
