I just restored my PST file from another computer after a major crash.
Everything was working fine before.
Now I have several bizarre little glitches that are occurring:
1. There is a substantial delay between when a new e-mail arrives in my
Inbox and when I can view it. When it arrives, the bold number sign next to
the box indicates there's a new e-mail, but I can't see it until I click on a
different e-mail folder (other than my Inbox) and then return to my Inbox.
Any idea why that's happening or how to fix it?
1(a). I have my Inbox (among other folders) in my "favorites" section.
Sometimes when an e-mail arrives I can view it in the "main" inbox, but not
in the inbox on my favorites (until it shows up several minutes later).
2. How do I get the system to show I've read an e-mail without clicking on
the e-mail? In outlook express if you highlight the e-mail, it will "unbold"
it (showing it has been read) after a specified number of seconds. Can
Outlook do this, because after I read them it's still showing up as unread.
3. Also, I used to have an "unread mail" folder that I can no longer find.
How do I get this back? That was a useful folder.
Thanks!
