Hi Paul,
Based on my testing on my computer with Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista, I
cannot reproduce such a situation. The issue on your environment may be
related to the display setting on the computer. Let's perform the steps
below to narrow down and resolve the issue.
#1 Update the driver of the Video card on the computer. Also go to
Microsoft Update site to check updates for Windows Vista and Office 2007.
If the issue persists, go to next step.
#2 Restores default views in Outlook 2007
-----------------------------------------
1. Close Outlook 2007.
2. Click the Start menu > Run > type "outlook /cleanviews" (without the
quotation marks), click OK.
3. Delete a batch of messages in Outlook 2007 to test the issue. What is
the result?
#3 Windows safe mode to narrow down if the issue is relate to third-party
software or the hardware drivers
============
To come into Windows safe mode, please follow the steps below:
Windows safe mode: All the third-party software and the unnecessary
hardware driver (such as video card, network card¡) is disabled.
1. Restart your computer
2. Keep press F8, until the screen "Windows Advanced Options Menu" appears.
3. Press "Up arrow" in the keyboard to select "Safe Mode with network",
press "Enter"
4. Open Outlook 2007 to test the issue again.
#4 come into Outlook safe mode to test the issue
================
1. Close Outlook 2007.
2. Click the Start menu > Run > type "outlook /safe" (without the quotation
marks), click OK.
3. Delete a batch of messages in Outlook 2007 to test the issue. What is
the result?
If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't
hesitate to contact me.

| When deleting a batch of messages (30+) in Outlook 2007, the contents of
the
| inbox disappear. If you click any column header such as Subject, the
contents
| re-appear. Current View is set to messages and Show in Groups is turned
off.
| OS is Vista. I have tried this on another machine with same setup and the
| problem was replicated there as well.

| Thanks
