Inbox doesn't update unless i open another folder first

My new e-mail does not show up in the inbox until i have left the
inbox and opened another folder and come back to the inbox....tada it's there!

I followed a link from the 2005 thread regarding the same issue and the
result of the test was that i had a mail flow issue but no suggestion as to
what to do next.

i've been having the same problem since i purchased this new Dell two weeks
ago...Inspiron 1525 with Vista. Any time something weird/different happens i
assume it's Vista...hope someone can solve this for us.

I've got the same problem since I upgraded to 2007. Have you had any luck

I found another thread on this subject and had some success. I uninstalled
Google Desktop Search and for now this particular problem has gone away.
Outlook 2007 is still painfully SLOW though.

I want to make sure i am hearing you correctly. Google search engine in the
internet browser is affecting OL07 mail program? I am not willing to give up
Google so I will have to deal with the issue until Microsoft corrects the
problem. There are enough threads on this issue that one would think the
isue would be resolved by now. Maybe it is resolved, somewhere out there, i
just have not stumbled across it yet.
