Inbox Folders archive settings getting lost

I have a problem, i have a user who has a number of folders set under the
umbrella of inbox. When going to set the autoarchive permissions for each
folder, the permissions get lost when i next click on the folder. Outlook is
not saving the autoarchive permissions that i am setting. Can anyone guide me
as to what i can try next.
