Inbox mail missing

Phil

I recently tried adding an email account into Outlook 2003 for someone to
access GMAIL. After restarting, I found that all her original email is no
longer there. I deleted the GMAIL account and created a new profile in Mail
Settings strictly for GMAIL and it works fine. I reset her old profile, and
it resynched with the Exchange server and got all the mail back except for
the messages in the Inbox. It will still receive email, but none of the
previous messages are there. Is there any way to recover those messages?

I'm running Windows 2003 Server with Exchange 2003, and the computer in
question is running XP Pro with Outlook 2003. Also, I attempted accessing
her mailbox by signing her into another computer, but the still didn't have
any of the previous emails that were in the inbox.

If you look at her mailbox through OWA are the messages still there?
