I have installed my partner's Outlook 2003 (Office 2003 Small Business
Edition) as part of the MS Office Suite. The software appeared to work fine
(sending/receiving e-mails), however any item in the Inbox is automatically
deleted after one week. The messages don't go in Deleted Items folder - they
just disappear.
I have run the Re-install or Repair option using the installation CD (rather
than taking the drastic measure to wipe everything and start again), which
completed successfully, but this hasn't made any difference. I have compared
the setup with my own installation of Outlook 2003 (on a different PC) and
can't see anything in the coniguration which explains why the messages are
vanishing after a week of being in Inbox.
Any suggestions or fixes most welcome.
