Inbox messages gone

I was out of the office yesterday and was not able to retreive e-mail until
this morning. I had 176 e-mails to retrieve. When this process completed the
only e-mails I am now able to see in my Inbox are from Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday this week. Sunday's messages and all prior do not appear. Running
scanpst.exe did not fix it.

1. My Outlook version is 12.0.4407.1004
2. My MSO version is 12.0.407.1005
3. My .pst file size does not indicate messages have been deleted.
4. I ran scanpst.exe and it found and repaired errors.
4. pst file is now actually a litle larger now than it was prior to repair.
5. My current view option is set to 'Messages'.
6. AutoArchive is turned off on my Inbox.
7. Starting Outlook in Safe mode makes no difference,

Am I overlooking somethng obvious? How can I get the messages to re-appaear?
