inbox msgs are deleted once opened

all new msgs are deleted from the inbox folder as soon as I open to view.
I already used the inbox repair tool that fixed the oulook.pst file but did
not
fix the problem.

any suggustions?

Hi,

The problem you are describing is most likely caused by having a custom view set to "Unread messages in this folder" applied to your Inbox. This will produce the type of problem you
are describing, any messages that are "read' will not appear.

To resolve this issue, Open Outlook, select your Inbox folder, and click on View > Arrange By > Current View and make sure "Messages" is selected.
