Inbox - Outlook closes/restarts on message acceptance

Have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled Outlook 2002. Have Norton 2006 INS.
When accepting incomining message get error and outlook retarts and then
displays message. Typical occurance:
Event Application Failure
Application outlook.exe
Version 10.0.6626.0
Module outllib.dll
Module Version 10.0.6515.0
Offset 000b7d02
Any thoughts how to correct?
