inbox renamed after scanpst and import of data

My pst got corrupted. So I ran scanpst. Then opened outlook and found no
messages. I imported the corrected pst file. It placed everythig in the
correct folders but not my inbox. The inbox appears under the lost & found
directory and is renamed 'recovered folder 8082'. Incoming mail is being
successfully delivered there and under favorite folders it lists the
receovered folder as though it were my inbox. Now here is the problem, I have
a pocket pc. When I go to syncronize, things don't work because the pocket pc
is looking for something titled inbox. How can I get this straightened out?

Create a new pst, within OL, copy data from old to new.
Set new pst as default delivery location. Close old pst
Import / Export should be rarely used in OL to recover/copy a pst, it often
causes problems.
PS Your version of OL and size of pst?
