Inbox repair tool misleading...

Hi,
my outlook wouldn't start up this afternoon, giving an error message stating
i should repair the pst file using the Inbox Repair Tool. I ran the
scanpst.exe file a number of times till it stated my pst file was OK. i
restarted my laptop of course... and still - nothing. when starting outlook i
get the same error message.
my outlook.pst file is only 1.56 GB, so being larger than 2 gigs isn't the
problem either... any ideas? i NEED the stuff in my outlook! help...

What version of OL?
If earlier than 2003, problems can occur from 1.6gb.
You've run Detect/Repair using the cd?

it's Outlook 2007...
i haven't tried from the CD! now i have to find it...
i'll give it a try and keep you posted.

In 2007 repair is called Diagnostics
The cd/dvd is something you should keep in a safe place, together with the
key.
Make a copy of same, if you frequently travel with your Laptop
