Inbox won't update

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I'm using 2008 with Exchange, and for the last two months my inbox will not show new mail. This has forced me to use a web-based version of our email system. Everything else in Entourage will update; if I delete an email from the inbox online, it will appear in the deleted folder in Entourage. Same with creating folders (both within the inbox and outside), deleting them, sent mail, etc. The only thing which won't work is the actual inbox. Any ideas?

Control-click the Inbox and choose Folder Properties > Empty Cache.

Same here. We found, that only folders with more then 140 items are not synced. Cleaning the cache did not help.
There is a KB article about this behaviour, identifying a "FAM4V" Driver as the problem but this driver is not present at our exchange servers. Any further ideas?

I am having the issue again. Emptying the cache worked for about two
weeks, and now I'm back to where I was. Any help would be
appreciated.

You may have a "corrupt" message that Entourage doesn't like. Compare
your Inbox to Outlook Web Access (OWA) and note where messages stopped
appearing. Look for messages that may be spam, have large attachments,
foreign characters or anything that stands out.

Hope this helps!
