yes - this is a feature that has been suggested by many users. I think the
most logical thing to do would be to integrate the familiar drawing toolbar
that is found in Word into OneNote.

Yes! I was surprised (and disappointed) to find that I can't draw a simple
straight line. Just to delineate portions of a page or whatever. (Maybe the
developers of OneNote are very good at drawing precise straight lines with
the pen!)
