Include Pages and Themes

V

Vince

I've been reading about Include Pages and I want to try using them.

Up to this time I have been using Shared Borders, and the FP themes seem to
integrate well with the shared borders, as far as having the theme's graphics
appear in the navigation areas of the shared borders.

With Include pages, I have been unable to make the theme graphics for
buttons appear. Is there a way to make Navigation buttons with the theme's
graphics for buttons appear in Include pages automatically? Or do I need to
do it all manually by locating the .gif, copying it, and pasting it?

Thanks

If you are going to use themes, I would suggest that you continue to use shared borders, since the
theme is designed based on them.

You place the navigation bar into the include file, same as when using
shared borders. The difference is that the navigation bar in the
Include page will say something like
[Add this page to the Navigation view to display hyperlinks here]
Ignore this. When the include page is included in, say, main.htm,
main.htm will display the nav.bar provided main.htm is in the
navigation.
