1) I fail to understand why Microsoft gives us the option to use larger
downloads to avoid digging out Original CD's, and then the update itself
demands the CD's anyway. If I must dig out the Original CD's, tell me up
front.
2) I always install Office using the "COMPLETE" install option so that all
files for all options are installed up-front. That way, I should never need
the installation CD's again unless there is a catastrophic system failure.
What is on the CD's that an update needs that is not loaded in the "COMPLETE"
installation option?
Microsoft needs to tell us up front that a "COMPLETE" installation is not
complete and that all updates need the original installation CD's and cut out
the misinformation.
