Include the shared contact folder in search address book criteria

Hello there,

We have one shared folder named 'other' on 'testuser' outlook. when i
include the same in my outlook, i am able to see the folder, but not
able to include for searching the address for that folder. i tried the
option provided by you below, but after choosing properties (after
clicking right mouse button), i am not able to see 'Outlook Address
Book' tab.

pl suggest any alternate solution.

Recently got Microsoft Small Business Server and Office 2007.
Created a number of new shared contacts folders. Put some of my own
contacts into those shared folders so that other staff can see them
as well. Problem is that the "Search address book" search that was
so helpful before now only searches my own contacts and not the
shared contacts. Anyone know of any way to change that?

See if you can right-click the shared contacts folder, choose
Properties,
select the Outlook Address Book tab and check the box labeled "Show
this
folder as an e-mail Address Book".
