IncludePicture field is automatically updated when saved

Hi,

I insert includepicture field through Insert Menu->Field
and then select IncludePicture field and then type in the
absolute link. When it's inserted, the field code is
something like { INCLUDEPICTURE "C:\\blah.bmp" \d}
For some reason, when I save the document, the link
always gets updated to the relative path. I can change
back by using undo, but the link update is already
saved. So, the new link is like {
INCLUDEPICTURE "blah.bmp" \d} if the document is in the C
directory.

I was wondering who I can turn off this auto update?

Sorry about posting also in the Drawing section, I
noticed later that this section is more appropriate.

Go to Tools | Options | General and click Web Options... On the Files tab,
clear the check box for "Update links on save." You may find that this helps
a little (though I find that Word can still be very stubborn about this).
