INCLUDETEXT does not Update Field when doc is opened

We are using Word 2002. We have an INCLUDETEXT field and
would like to see the contents of the INCLUDETEXT field
when the document is open. I know that we can rt click
on it and click Update Field, but would prefer an
automated process. Is there code which I could put in an
AutoOpen maco which might do this. I would prefer not to
change any registry keys.

should work.
