Includetext truncates text

I am trying to pull a field from a infopath form, but when I do the field
truncates the text after about 255 characters. Is there a way to increase
the max length of this field?

Can you describe how you save your Infopath form in a way that lets Word
include text from it?

(Which versions of Infopath and Word?)
