Inclusion in Outlook Express

My service provider has removed all groups but only the big 8.
I suggest Microsoft to include Microsoft Discussion Groups in Outlook
Express especially microsoft.public...... reguardless of any service
provider.

I think you are confused about what a service provider does, and about what
a new client does. Outlook Express can indeed read the microsoft
newsgroups, but it needs to connect to a news server. If your own service
provider no longer provides access, try microsoft's server at
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.excel.misc

I wonder if the question was about including a newsgroup for Outlook Express.
If this is the case, IIRC, Outlook Express is not, nor has ever been a
Microsoft product. In this case, it wouldn't be included in any Microsoft
newsgroups.

I'm intrigued by your message, Barb. If not Microsoft, who do you believe
produced OE? Microsoft have done a good job, over the past 11 years, of
convincing us all that it's theirs. :)

If the question was about groups for OE rather than Excel, there are a
number including
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
