Incming mail to folder in wrong format

I have a public folder that receives incoming e-mail.

But after we changed Exchange server the incoming mails show up as
discussion postings. So when I click reply the answer is posted to the
folder - and not send to the sender. How do I change this behavior?

But this Exchange server is newer than that :-/
And the problem appeared when recreating the folder.
Is there anything I can do locally with this
(I do not have access to the Exchange server, but I have full rights
to the folder, if I can alter some settings on the folder itself)

It's not a setting on the folder. You might want to take this up with the Exchange experts in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin group.
