Incoming email appears in red

Dorci

An internal email was sent to a large distribution list of which I am a
member. The email appears in MY inbox in red, but it is normal (black) in
other associates' inboxes. I have only one rule setup in Outlook: that my
boss' emails appear in red. This suspicious email does not fall into that
category. Any ideas why it would appear in red? This is the second time
this has happened (with two different senders).

Thanks in advance,
Dorci

Your rule is clearly doing this, as nothing built in will. Check your rules
to see what exactly your rule does. Try disabling it and test.

Is the email flagged for Follow up.

I don't know - I can't see Dorci's computer from here. Perhaps you meant to
reply to him/her ? ;-)

I have only one rule, that my boss' emails appear in red. Testing it is
difficult because it is intermittent. I can try disabling the rule, and just
wait a few months to see if it happens again.
