Incoming email received as read.

Hello, I have an issue with outlook 2007 and my blackberry. When I use
outlook 2007 on my laptop emails that come in are already read. Now, I have
been told that perhaps if I first read my mail on my blackberry that it would
be received in outlook as already read. Well, first off is that possible?
Secondly, I have not had that problem before with reading it with my
blackberry, then outlook. they were both marked as unread. This seems to have
happened recently.

Anyone have some insight as to why this may happen?

Hard to say without knowing the mail account type that you are using.

This is using MS Exchange server 2007.

And you also make an Exchange or IMAP connection to read the mails on your
Blackberry? Then this is normal behavior. Such account types are 2-way sync.
So any client-side modifications (like marking a message as read) will also
reflect on the server.
