We recently converted from Mozilla to Outlook. I have a problem with my
in-box. All incoming messages previously received under Mozilla that were
migrated to Outlook show a sent date of "none". After I modified my incoming
message sort, including arranging incoming messages by date, suddenly all new
incoming messages began appearing with a sent date of "none" in the "none"
date category. However, after I open any message with a received date of
"none", whether a migrated historical message or newly received message,
Outlook recognizes the sent date, and displays it in the sent date column.
How can I fix Outlook so that it recognizes the sent date for new incoming
messages and puts the message in the "Today" category immediately? I tried
turning off "Arrange by Date" but the new messages are still appearing in
date of "none" category with a sent date of "none". I am not using any
filters, and tried restoring original settings.
