Incoming plain-text messages are aligned to the right

I'm using Outlook 2007 on WinXP pro.
For some reason, all incoming plain-text messages are aligned to the right
instead of to the left. I am indeed using a Hebrew-enabled version of Outlook
(but with English menus), but I don't understand how this influences the text
alignment.
I tried going to the Options > Right-to-Left menu and changing everything to
Left-to-Right, but it didn't work.

Anybody knows how to solve this?
