Incoming server changes to localhost

My incoming mail server address automatically changes
to "localhost" every time I shut down Outlook. Although
the correct domain is appended to the login name, I must
replace localhost with the correct domain name to
successfully receive e-mail. Thank you for any help you
can give.

You have a 3rd party tool (antivirus, antispam, .etc) installed that
protects your POP3 account. You would need to disable that feature in order
to get the settings to stick.
