I have powerpoint animation that I've created which shows up correctly
when viewed in PP 2004 on a Mac, but when opened in PP 2003 on a PC I
am presented with just a blank slide. The entire contents of that one
slide vanish - no animation, no title, no text. No error messages are
displayed, and the remainder of the presentation seems unaffected. Has
anyone else experienced this and know how to combat it?
Ironically, I used PP 2003 to create the animation initially, because
of it's superior animation editing facilities, and only moved it over
to 2004 later. I did subsequently make some minor changes to it on the
Mac side, but nothing dramatic. So, I'm at a loss as to why it would
not work now.
If anyone is interested in seeing my problem first hand, I extracted
the offending slide and put it here:
http://mas.cs.umass.edu/~bhorling/tmp/anim.ppt
Thanks.
