Incomplete Access file transfer.

I had Office Professional 2000 on my old Gateway Windows XP before it crashed
last month. I recovered the document files and brought them to my new Vista
computer. I installed the trial edition of MS Office Student. I was able to
retrieve old Word and Excel files ok but the student version did not include
Access. Then I purchased and installed MS Office Professional 2007. Problem
is that although I can read my old Access output reports, none of my input
document forms that took so long to design are available, nor are my saved
query strings. Any ideas out there? Jack in Wheeling

If you backed up your files and folders onto a CD, just check that they have
not come off as ReadOnly (In Windows Explorer, right click, go to
Properties, untick Read Only)

Do you still have your Office 2000 CD? If yes, install Access on it into a
seperate folder from the 2007 Office.

Try importing your tables and forms into a blank 2007 database
