Incomplete image is pasted into a Word Document

I am trying to paste a table created in Excel XP into a
Word document, as an image, but it is pasted incomplete.
The lower three lines are missing.
If I do it as a bitmap or other method it works.

I prefer to paste linked images since they use much less
space than bitmpaps and are far easier to place and
format than word tables.

Any ideas on why it happens or how it can be solved?
