Windows XP & Word 2002 Sp2: As I prepare a manual I have
used many references to bookmarks (page numbers) embedded
in the narrative. This keeps the referenced page numbers
current without extra work. Except for printing! If I
print using the printer icon on the toolbar or File|Print
from the menu bar, the correct page numbers are not
printed in the narrative. (These incorrect page numbers
are also then viewed in the opened Word document.) If I
print from print preview, the correct page numbers are
printed. (The correct page numbers can once again be
viewed in the opened Word document.)Any thoughts about
what is happening and can I stop it? Since I can get it to
print correctly, the only real problem is when I share it
with others they have the same printing problem. I guess I
can just tell them to print from print preview! Thanks
