Incorporating .dcr files into PP

Is it possible for me to incorporate .dcr files into my powerpoint
presentation? These files are shockwave files and run using shockwave player,
and they also run in internet explorer or mozilla firefox. How can I put
these files in my ppt and get them to work? Otherwise, how can I convert
these files to files that can be incorporated into powerpoint and used as
animations within the show?
