Incorrect calendar dates for new appointment or event

If I set the start date for a new appointment (or event)
and end date as 08/27/03 and save it, the calendar shows
the start date as today and ends on 08/27/03. When I
check the appointment settings it does show start date as
08/25/03.

I'm running XP with Outlook 2002, SP-2
