incorrect display of renamed project

I think what's happening is that after renaming a project in the open
dialog box, re-opening the project and then re-publishing, the project
appears with the correct name in PWA Project Center, HOWEVER, the old
name is still displayed in the Details underneath the Resource
Availability graph (Resource Center).

Can someone else confirm this little issue? Any way to fix it? Is
it a bug?

Thanks,

I can confirm that this seems to be an issue with the project rename
capabilities of 2007, I do not know of any hotfix for this, what service
pack are you on?

I guess my first answer of SP2 was wishful thinking!!! We have yet
to apply any post-SP1 hotfixes

That is so strange, you are the 3rd person I have heard this from but did not
believe it, but you are right!!!!. I think it is worth logging a MS support
call for this one. I will investigate and will get back if I have news
Thanks

Hello Andy,

You may be consider the Marc's suggestion of logging this issue with
Microsoft. But before you escalate this issue, please make sure few
things at your end.

1) OLAP cube may be not built after you rename the project. Run the
OLAP cube and verify the resource availability.

2) Make sure renamed project is not appearing as subproject in any
master project. If so, update the inserted project to new name and
publish the project.

The above may be not applicable to you, but worth to verify.

Thanks
Chak
