incorrect eac in ms project

The tasks i enter in to the project after my baseline have been save show a
incorrect EAC why is this and how can it be fixed? if i save a second
baseline and use that for the earned value calculations the figure is
rediculously high for the actual cost and the percent complete.

I have the same problem with a summary task not rolling up the EAC/VAC values
for the non summary tasks correctly.

Anyone know of fix?
