Incorrect email address used by Outlook

When I put a name in the To: field in an email message,
outlook completes the name with an incorrect email
address - (e-mail address removed) rather than
(e-mail address removed).

The contact entry for the person has the correct email
address (and alias) - (e-mail address removed). I have
checked all of the email fieds (email 1, 2, 3, etc) and
cannot find anywhere in outlook an entry for
(e-mail address removed).

Is this an insidious MSFT plot to permeate hotmail
everywhere? Help!

Maybe it's an old auto-complete entry. If you see it in an auto-complete
dropdown, highlight it and hit delete

That did it! I didn't know you could delete auto-complete
dropdown entries! Thanks so much.
